24/7 Availability
Websites don’t break on schedule. A checkout failing at 11 pm on a Friday is just as urgent as one failing at 10 am on a Tuesday. We’re available around the clock, real responses, real people, real resolutions.
|
What 24/7 means at Pixerize
|
|---|
| Support is available every day via email and ticketing. Critical issues, including site outages, checkout failures, and security incidents, are escalated immediately, around the clock. All other requests receive a response within one business day. |
What counts as a critical issue?
Site downtime, broken checkout or booking flows, security incidents, data loss, and anything preventing your customers from completing key actions. These are treated as emergencies we respond and begin resolving immediately, regardless of the time. Non-urgent requests like content changes and design tweaks are handled during business hours.
How do I reach you outside of business hours?
Via email or the support ticketing system, both are monitored around the clock for critical issues. From day one, you’ll have direct contact details on hand, so reaching us is never a question when something needs immediate attention.
Is there a support contract or minimum commitment?
Support plans are custom quoted with no rigid long-term contracts. We do ask for a minimum 3-month commitment to ensure the onboarding process delivers real value for both sides.
Are content updates and small changes included in a support plan?
Yes. Support plans include a monthly allocation of development and content hours for smaller request: text updates, image swaps, new landing pages, and minor feature additions.
This covers the ongoing work most businesses need without having to raise a new project every time something small needs doing.

Website and Server Updates
Outdated software is how sites get hacked.
Every unpatched plugin, outdated PHP version, and ignored WordPress core update is an open door. We manage all server-level and website updates on a regular schedule, testing before deploying, staging before going live, so your site stays current, compatible, and secure without you thinking about it once.
Includes:
- WordPress Core updates
- Plugin & theme updates
- Server
- Staging Environment
- Compatibility checks
- Update reports
Why can't I just update plugins myself?
You can, but plugin updates frequently introduce compatibility conflicts, visual breakages, and functionality regressions that aren’t obvious until something on your site stops working. We test every update in a staging environment first, so if an update breaks something, it never reaches your live site.
Clicking “update all” and hoping for the best is how sites go down.
How often do you run updates?
Updates and security patches are scheduled, tested on staging, and deployed with a backup in place.
You receive a monthly report summarising everything that was updated and the current health of your site.
What if an update breaks something on my site?
That’s exactly what staging environments prevent. We catch breakages before they go live.
In the rare case that something slips through to production, we identify and resolve it immediately and restore from backup if needed. Your site is always covered.
Does keeping software updated really matter for security?
It’s the single most important security measure you can take. The majority of WordPress hacks exploit known vulnerabilities in outdated plugins and core software; vulnerabilities that were already patched in newer versions. Staying current closes those doors before attackers can use them.
Can updates be included with hosting?
Yes. Website updates are available as part of a bundled support plan alongside hosting, monitoring, and backups. Most clients find the bundle significantly better value than managing each service separately, and having one team responsible for everything means nothing falls through the cracks.
VPS Pro Hosting
Shared hosting is cheap for a reason, your site shares a server with hundreds of others, and when one gets hammered, yours slows down. Our VPS Pro Hosting gives your website a dedicated environment: isolated resources, enterprise-grade infrastructure, and performance tuned specifically to your stack. No noisy neighbours. No excuses for slow load times.
| Typical Shared Hosting | Pixerize VPS Pro Hosting |
|---|---|
| Shared server with hundreds of other sites | Dedicated VPS — your resources, only yours |
| Performance drops when neighbours spike | Consistent sub-1.5s load times |
| Generic config — not tuned to your stack | Server configured around your exact setup |
| Support via ticket queue, days to respond | Real team, real responses, 24/7 |
| You manage updates and security yourself | Updates, patches, and monitoring included |
What is VPS hosting and why is it better than shared hosting?
A VPS (Virtual Private Server) gives your website dedicated resources, CPU, RAM, and storage that aren’t shared with other sites. Shared hosting is cheaper but puts your site on a crowded server where other websites’ traffic directly affects your performance.
VPS hosting means consistent speed, better security, and the ability to handle traffic spikes without falling over.
Does hosting actually affect my SEO rankings?
Yes, significantly. Page speed is a confirmed Google ranking factor. Sites hosted on slow shared servers consistently underperform on Core Web Vitals, which directly impacts search rankings.
Fast VPS hosting is one of the highest-return technical SEO investments you can make, and usually one of the most overlooked.
Can I move my existing site to Pixerize hosting?
Yes. We handle the full migration, files, databases, DNS, and email configuration, with zero downtime where possible.
We test everything in a staging environment before cutting over, so your live site is never at risk during the move.
How is Pixerize hosting priced?
Hosting is custom quoted based on your site’s requirements, traffic volume, storage needs, and whether you need additional services like backups, monitoring, or support included.
What happens if my site goes down?
Our monitoring catches downtime within minutes, usually before you even notice. We investigate and resolve the issue directly, then send you a summary of what happened and what we did.
You’re never left refreshing your site, wondering who to call.

Proactive Monitoring
We notice before your customers doWe notice before your customers do
Downtime, broken forms, failed checkouts, and slow load spikes don’t announce themselves. We monitor your website around the clock — uptime, performance, error rates, and security threats — so problems are caught and resolved in minutes, not discovered when a client emails to say your site is down.
|
What we monitor
|
How we respond
|
|---|---|
| Uptime, response times, Core Web Vitals, SSL certificate expiry, broken links, form functionality, checkout flow, and server resource usage. Everything that could silently cost you clients. | Automated alerts trigger the moment a threshold is crossed. A real person investigates, diagnoses, and acts |
How quickly do you detect if my site goes down?
Downtime is detected within 1 to 10 minutes of occurring. Our monitoring checks your site at regular intervals.
What's the cost of website downtime for a small business?
Every minute your site is down, you’re losing potential leads, damaging trust with existing clients, and sending negative signals to Google, crawlers that find your site unavailable and factor that into rankings.
For e-commerce, every minute of checkout downtime is direct lost revenue. Proactive monitoring costs a fraction of what a single hour of undetected downtime can cost.
Do you monitor performance, not just uptime?
Yes. A site can be “up” and still be performing badly. We monitor response times, Core Web Vitals scores, and load speed from multiple locations so we catch performance degradation before it becomes a user experience problem, and before it starts hurting your search rankings.
Will I receive reports on my site's health?
Yes. Monthly performance and uptime reports are included, showing availability percentage, average load times, any incidents that occurred and how they were resolved, and any performance trends worth your attention.

Backups & Security
Even if something goes wrong, nothing is lost.
A website without proper backups is one bad update — or one successful attack away from starting from scratch. We run automated backups, offsite storage, and layered security hardening so that whatever happens, your site can be fully restored fast. Protection you set up once and never have to think about again
Includes:
- Automated backups
- Offsite backup storage
- Fast backup restore
- Firewall & malware scanning
- SSL management
- Security hardening
What happens if my site gets hacked?
We isolate the site, clean the infection completely, and restore from a clean backup. We then patch the vulnerability that was exploited so it can’t happen again.
Is your copy optimised for SEO?
Always. SEO is integrated into every copy project; keyword mapping, heading hierarchy, meta descriptions, internal link anchors, and AEO-structured FAQ content where appropriate.
Copy that ranks and copy that converts aren’t two different things when they’re written together from the start.
Does my hosting provider's backup cover me?
Most shared hosts take infrequent snapshots that may be days old, stored on the same server your site runs on. If that server fails or is compromised, your backups fail with it. Dedicated off-site backups are the only backups you can actually depend on when you need them most.
How long does a restore take?
Most restores are completed within 15 to 45 minutes, depending on site size. We restore to a staging environment first to verify the backup is clean, then push to live.
Is security hardening a one-time thing or ongoing?
Both. Initial hardening, such as login protection, security headers, file permissions, and firewall rules, is set up once. Ongoing security comes from keeping software updated, monitoring for new threats, and adapting as your site grows. Security is not a product you buy once; it’s a practice you maintain. That’s what our support plans are built around.
